Blueflite, a Brighton-based aerial logistics company, is testing drone delivery operations in Detroit through ongoing flight operations within AAIR, this initiative demonstrates how drone logistics can be integrated into urban mobility ecosystems, serving healthcare, automotive, and many other industries with advanced drone logistics, and opening the door to many new possibilities. The blueflite Cobalt drone operates autonomously, with trained backup pilots and spotters ensuring safe operation and public awareness. This configuration of Cobalt can carry up to 5 pounds and travel 14–16 miles per flight.
