In collaboration with neighborhood groups and community partners, JustAir is installing six air quality sensors throughout the Transportation Innovation Zone. Air quality data collected from these sensors can be seen in the map below on this page.
Southwest Detroit has some of the nation's most polluted air. This pilot allows the community to collect baseline air quality data, test the impact of emissions-reducing initiatives, keep residents informed and safe through the public dashboard and text alert system, and build momentum for longer-term improvements to air quality safety.
