Robot Helping Pedestrians Cross Intersections Safely
What were the results and learnings from this pilot?

The limited pilots have revealed that the crossing guard robots effectively address the challenges of managing and regulating traffic at unprotected intersections. While the product is highly desired by schools, there is a reluctance to invest in it financially. Based on experiences within the pilot, Snowbotix is exploring alternative business models and enhancing the product’s technical capabilities to support use in larger areas with more diverse needs in order to showcase the product's capabilities on a larger scale.
