Liberas and Michigan Central have teamed up to pilot new technology solutions that allow individual consumers and small businesses to participate in regional energy markets and incentive programs that have traditionally only been accessible to the extremely wealthy/resourced. Specifically, the solutions we’re piloting allow consumer-grade Electric Vehicles and Distributed Energy Resources (solar, batteries, generators, and others) to be monetized in new and emerging energy markets and utility incentive programs – and optimized in unprecedented ways to meet energy efficiency and equity goals. These solutions will help provide clean and affordable energy for all, and provide an opportunity for every human to save energy costs and access new revenue streams.

By allowing Electric Vehicles and Distributed Energy Resources to be safely and securely integrated into the backbone of the power grid, they can be managed to reduce energy costs and reliability impacts caused by the constantly changing conditions in the grid and energy market. Our solution makes this as easy as plug-and-play, so the benefits of Electric Vehicles and Distributed Energy Resources can be fully realized by all.
