Picture of Blueflite being deployed

This project sought to develop new ways of improving safety and security, so that more people could access areas without sufficient lighting.

Through short trials at selected sites in Detroit, Blueflite used an aerial drone with a light attached to test on-demand illumination for pedestrians at night. The technology does detect the presence of people, but the data collected is totally anonymous.
